Ms. Kathrina B. Ontanieza is an accomplished educational leader and science educator with a robust academic foundation in secondary instruction and institutional administration. She earned her Bachelor of Secondary Education majoring in General Science from Far Eastern University and successfully cleared the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) shortly thereafter. Driven by a commitment to pedagogical excellence and systemic school governance, she completed the academic requirements for a Master of Arts in Science Education at the National Teachers College and recently obtained her Master of Arts in Education majoring in Educational Management from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela. Her academic and research interests center on developing adaptive, science-based instructional strategies and optimizing administrative frameworks to improve student learning outcomes.
With nearly two decades of dedicated service in private secondary education, Ms. Ontanieza has established a distinguished career at the New Prodon Academy of Valenzuela. Rising quickly through the administrative ranks, she transitioned from her role as a classroom teacher to serve as the High School Coordinator, and since 2016, she has provided strategic leadership as the Senior High School Coordinator.
