My name is Lydia Cobbinah. I am a dedicated professional and a lifelong learner with a deep passion for innovation, leadership, and cultural development. I was born in Agona Nkwanta, a town in the Western Region of Ghana. I come from a close-knit family of eight, including my parents and six siblings. I began my academic journey at Baidoo Bonso Senior High School in Agona Nkwanta, located within the Ahanta West Municipal Assembly, where I studied Business. I pursued higher education at Takoradi Technical University, earning a Higher National Diploma in Accounting. I further advanced my studies at Kumasi Technical University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Accounting with Computing. I am a graduate from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), pursuing an MSc in Accounting and Finance through the Institute of Distance Learning (IDL),final Graduation Ceremony to be held in 26th to 28th June 2025. I am also progressing through ICA Part II, and I hold a Leadership Certificate from VODEC. Additionally, I have received formal training in the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) framework, having completed the 35 hours of project management education required for the PMP certification examination. Recently,I have undergone an intensive training in Solar Systems at the Takoradi Technical University Professionally, I have had the privilege of working with notable organizations and individuals through internships and full-time roles. My experience spans diverse fields including accounting, administration, programs coordination, sales, cybersecurity, marketing, and customer service. I currently serve as an Administrative Assistant with the National Identification Authority (NIA) – Ghana, a position I have held since November 2021. I am also a Commissioner for Oaths. Outside of work and academics, I enjoy creating—whether it be writing narratives, composing music, or initiating meaningful projects. Leading my peers in impactful causes brings me great satisfaction, and I remain committed to personal growth and contributing positively to society.
