Moumita Akter is a Lecturer in English at Uttara University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in ESOL and a Master’s in TESOL from the University of Dhaka. Passionate about research, she has presented her work at both national and international conferences.
Moumita has authored two research articles published in international peer-reviewed journals and continues to contribute to the field through her academic writing. Her research interests include English Language Teaching (ELT), language pedagogy, medium of instruction, translingualism, second language acquisition, and the study of minority and ethnic languages.
Beyond teaching and research, she works as a reviewer at International Journal of Research and Innovation in Social Science. She is a member of several professional organizations in the field of linguistics and ELT. Through her work, she strives to bridge the gap between theory and practice, contributing to more facilitative and inclusive language education.
