Biography
Rebecca Akinniranye is a Ph.D. student in Applied Science–Physics at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Originally from Nigeria, she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Physics from the Federal University of Technology, Akure. Her academic journey is driven by a passion for using science to solve real-world problems, particularly in health. She is currently focused on the design and characterization of programmable nanomaterials for photothermal cancer theranostics. Through both theoretical and experimental research, Rebecca is exploring how the size and shape of nanomaterials influence key properties like melting temperature and electrical conductivity.
