Academic Profile

M. Swathi specialises in African Literature, Postcolonial Studies, Cultural Studies, and Subaltern Studies. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Madurai Kamaraj University, where her research focuses on Afrocentricity and Resistance in the works of Ngũgĩ wa Thiong’o.

A UGC-NET-qualified scholar, she also serves as a Guest Lecturer at the Centre for Distance and Online Education, Madurai Kamaraj University. Her teaching and research reflect a deep engagement with postcolonial discourse and the politics of representation in African and global literature.
