Prof. H Narendra Kumar has been an Associate Professor at Department of Civil Engineering, S J B Institute of Technology, Bangalore and headed the department from Feb, 2017 to July, 2019 and has 29 years of teaching and 2 years of industrial experience.For his continuous contributions in the field of academics, he was felicitated by AMC college of Engineering recently. He has done his Masters from Bangalore University and also has completed Proficiency Course in Environmental Pollution and Control from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has completed 15 SWAYAM/NPTEL/ARPIT courses and recently awarded NPTEL-STAR in Four categories. His area of research has been Limnological Studies on Lake Waters, Green Buildings, Water and Wastewater Treatment, Water Conservation. Prof. Narendra Kumar has been involved with various Projects on Construction of RCC, Steel, PSC and Effluent Treatment Plant Works for Industries while working with a Consulting firm as Design/ Resident Engineer. His technical papers have been published by various National and International journals, also, Presented papers in National and International workshops. He has been invited to deliver guest lectures on Environmental Awareness, Rain Water Harvesting, Advanced Surveying, RS & GIS, and Extensive Survey Project by various institutions and organisations. During his teaching career, taught more than 15 courses at the undergraduate level and guided more than 40 projects. Few of his projects are also sponsored by KSCST.
