I am P. Vinobaba, a Senior Professor in Zoology at the Department of Zoology, Eastern University, Sri Lanka. My research focuses on fisheries, fin fish diseases, aquaculture, and the environmental damages affecting aquatic ecosystems. I am particularly interested in the conservation of endemic species within wild ecosystems. With extensive experience in these fields, I aim to contribute to the development of sustainable practices for managing aquatic resources and preserving biodiversity. My work combines scientific research with practical solutions to address pressing environmental challenges and promote the conservation of Sri Lanka’s unique aquatic species.
