I am Prof. Caren Ouma an Associate Professor in Leadership and Management from Chandaria School of Business. I hold PhD in Organizational Development and Transformation, MBA and B.Com. Some professional trainings that I have attended include; Agricultural Farmers Managed Advisory (AFMA) Course in Denmark, Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) in United Kingdom and Curriculum development from Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development, among others. I am an expert and has led several student centered learnings, program assessments, program reviews, baselines, midlines and endline surveys in social science areas. I am also an expert in curriculum and program development, capacity building and development of training materials for pedagogical and andragogical learning levels, as well as policy and strategy formulation and development. In addition, I have participated in various scholarly researches in various countries (Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Somalia, Djibouti, Sudan, South Sudan, and UK). Awards: • Received an award from International Journal of Innovative Research and Development in the year 2017as a researcher and publisher. • Received USIU-Africa Top Faculty Award (TFA) in the year 2013 based on excellent performance in 2012/2013 academic year. • Received the University of Nairobi Scholarship award to undertake MBA program in the year 1997 based on academic excellent performance merit at undergraduate program (B.Com). I have published over 50 peer reviewed research papers, 4 books, 2 case studies, 40 learning modules, and over 30 papers presented in conferences which are used within higher level learning institutions and community development areas and supervised over 15 Ph.D and over 300 graduate students dissertations and theses/projects.
