Prof. Dr. Md. Lutfar Rahman joined IUBAT as Faculty at the College of Business Administration in July 2008. Prior to his tenure at IUBAT, he had extensive experience in the Tea Industry and the Rural Electrification Board, where he held higher management positions. His career in the practical field of Industrial Relations and Labor Laws, specifically within the tea industry, and his expertise in managing rural electrification, have provided him with a rich understanding of both sectors.

Prof. Rahman holds an MBA degree from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, where he developed a solid foundation in business and management. Over the years, he has undergone numerous quality training programs in management both domestically and internationally, further enhancing his leadership skills during his tenure as Senior Manager in the Tea Industry and General Manager at the Rural Electrification Board.

Additionally, Prof. Rahman obtained a PhD in Management from Malaysia University of Science and Technology, Kuala Lumpur. Currently, he serves as the Registrar at IUBAT and holds the position of Professor in the College of Business Administration. His remarkable career in both academia and the practical fields of business and management continues to inspire and benefit the institution.
