Prof. Musa Nyakora is currently a Full Professor and the substantive HOD, department of Social Sciences and Program Leader of PhD in Leadership programs at the School of Postgraduate Studies, at the Adventist University of Africa (AUA). He is a holder of PhD Degree – in Organizational Development and Strategic Leadership. Prof. Nyakora has over 20 years’ experience in the NGO Sector in development work as well as in the public sector operations. His docket involved training in fundraising and resource mobilization for development partners, proposal writing skills and grants management among other areas. He has served in several University in the African region including countries of Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Somalia. Prior to joining AUA, prof. Nyakora worked for Mount Kenya University, as Rector/Principal, in Rwanda (Kigali) and later Director MKU Nairobi campuses. He has been teaching and supervising students both at Masters and PhD Levels in the areas of Human Resources Management, Strategic Management and Systems Thinking among other areas for the last 15 years. Prof. Nyakora is a member of several professional bodies as follows: 1. Full Member of Kenya Institute of Management (KIM), since 1986. 2. Full Member of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) – USA 3. Member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) since 2006 4. Associate Member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, (KSIM) since 2007. 5. Participating Member of Global Institute of Organization Development Network (GIODN), Florida, USA., and 6. Participating Member of the Global Talent Management Leaders’ Summit, Berlin – Germany. Besides, Prof. Nyakora has Published University Level Text Books and several publications to Various International peer-reviewed and Refereed Journals.
