Thomas Katua Ngui is as an Associate Professor – Leadership and Human Resources Management at USIU-Africa. He holds a Ph.D from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. In addition he holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyatta University. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Human Resource Management, Kenya (IHRM, K) and a Full Member of the Kenya Institute of Management (KIM). He has been teaching for the last 24 years and has held various administrative positions at University level. As an expert, Prof. Ngui is also a member of the HRM Technical Standards Committee at Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), Peer Reviewer for the Commission for University Education (CUE) and the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA). He has taught and supervised extensively at Post Graduate level (PhD and Masters levels) and has also served as an External Examiner for several Universities. Besides this he has been involved in the development of University programs in Human Resources Management. Prof. Ngui has also served as a consultant for the Kenya Institute of Management and other companies. He has published widely in the area of expertise and has also served as an Editor for several International Journals. He has also served as a Director in the Boards of Machakos Water and Sewerage Company Limited and the Machakos Municipal Board and is a member of the Board of Management in several Secondary schools. He is the immediate former Director of Research, Development and Innovations at The Management University of Africa. Previously he served as the Deputy Head of Department, Head of Department and Director, Graduate Business School at The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA).
