Field of Expertise: Dr. Zainab Ajab Mohideen is an expert in Library Information Science, specializing in Information Systems, with significant contributions through research, publications, and presentations. Her expertise is recognized for her innovative approach and dedication to advancing knowledge and practice in her field. Professional Experience: Dr. Zainab has extensive experience in the IT industry as well as in academic and professional environments. She has collaborated with various prominent institutions and organizations, such as the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) as an IT Corresponding Member. She received the Exemplary Data Steward Malaysia award from the Deputy Prime Minister and successfully brought the Malaysian Board of Technologists (MBOT) to USM through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the recognition of USM students’ skills. Education: Dr. Zainab earned her Ph.D. from the University of Malaya, demonstrating her strong commitment to education and scientific research. She graduated after just 5 semesters, with Web of Science and Scopus publications to complete her Ph.D. at UM. She is a senior lecturer at School of Computer Sciences (CS) and Pay-Per-Use Lecturer at the Graduate School of Business (USM). Awards and Recognition: Dr. Zainab has received numerous awards and recognition for her outstanding contributions in the administrative field at PPKT and USM. She was also appointed by USM Deputy ViceChancellor of Industry and Community Network, Prof. Dr. Azlan Amran to contribute to the development of the USM Strategic Plan 2024-2029 in the scope of data analysis. Her work continues to inspire and influence both academic and professional communities. Contributions and Scholarly Work: Dr. Zainab is active in writing and publishing scholarly works that have helped advance new knowledge and practical applications. Her presentations at international conferences have been widely recognized since 2009 to the present.
