Krishna Kumar Dhankhoti is a clinically active optometrist and academic researcher with specialized expertise in corneal disorders and specialty contact lenses. With a strong foundation in clinical practice and research, he is dedicated to advancing patient care through evidence-based optometry and innovative contact lens solutions.
He earned his Master’s degree in Optometry from Himalayan University, where he developed a keen interest in corneal pathology and advanced contact lens applications. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Chandigarh University, India.
Krishna Kumar Dhankhoti currently serves as the Head of Optometry at Matrika Eye Center, Kathmandu. In this leadership role, he oversees clinical optometry services, specialty contact lens fittings, and professional training initiatives for optometry staff.
Alongside his clinical responsibilities, he remains actively engaged in academic research and scholarly activities, contributing to the advancement of optometric science.
His ongoing PhD research is focused on scleral contact lenses and their role in corneal rehabilitation, aiming to improve visual outcomes and quality of life for patients with compromised corneas.
