P. Vasanth is a Ph.D. Research Scholar in the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, India, working under the guidance of Prof. S. Kandasamy. He earned his M.Sc. in Agronomy from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, where his master’s research focused on the foliar application of urea and nano-urea for improving growth and yield of maize (Zea mays L.).
His research interests include nutrient management, nano-fertilizers, soil microbial diversity, nutrient cycling in agro-ecosystems, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable farming practices. He has published several research and review articles in peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters with international publishers such as CRC Press, Springer Nature, and Cambridge Scholars Publishing. He is also an active reviewer for agricultural e-magazines and journals. His long-term goal is to contribute to sustainable and climate-resilient agricultural production systems through evidence-based agronomic innovations.
