Biassa Palaquiéme is an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professional and Senior Chemist from Lomé, Togo, with extensive expertise in environmental analysis, laboratory management, and quality control systems. He currently serves as Environment Health & Safety Manager at SGS, where he oversees field operations, sampling, and laboratory analysis of water, air, soil, and petroleum products. With strong knowledge of ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001), analytical techniques, and international standards including ASTM, WHO, and AFNOR, he has developed significant competence in environmental monitoring, metrology, and laboratory quality assurance.
Mr. Palaquiéme holds a Professional Master’s Degree in Water and Sanitation and a Professional Degree in Water and Environment. He has participated in specialized trainings in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), first aid, and risk management of biohazardous and chemical waste. In addition to his technical expertise, he is actively engaged in leadership and community development through organizations such as JCI Togo and ISOC Togo, contributing to leadership coaching and internet development initiatives in Togo.
