Biography
Mr. Rotimi David Omotosho is a multidisciplinary researcher, project management professional, and operations executive with over 25 years of experience in facilities management, infrastructure delivery, asset management, real estate, and construction project management. He is currently pursuing an M.S. in Information Systems and Analytics with a concentration in IT Project Management at Middle Tennessee State University, United States. His academic background also includes a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science and Higher National Diploma and National Diploma qualifications in Estate Management. A PMP-certified professional with additional credentials in Scrum, Agile project delivery, facilities management, and project communication, he has held senior leadership roles including Director of Operations, General Manager, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Asset Management Team Lead. His experience spans large-scale infrastructure and construction projects, facilities and asset management, debt recovery, real estate valuation, risk management, contract administration, and technology-enabled operational improvement.Mr. Omotosho’s research and professional expertise focuses on construction and infrastructure project management, project risk intelligence, cost overruns, schedule delays, smart facilities, IoT-enabled systems, predictive analytics, operations research, and asset management. He has published peer-reviewed research on hybrid algorithms for predicting infrastructure project cost overruns and delays using Monte Carlo simulation and critical path-based risk assessment, as well as IoT and predictive analytics approaches for sustainable and energy-efficient facilities management. His technical and analytical skills include information systems, data analytics, simulation methods, critical path analysis, Agile and hybrid project delivery, and IT project management. With extensive experience in managing infrastructure projects, corporate facilities, property portfolios, and major asset valuations, he is well positioned to contribute scholarly expertise in construction management, facilities management, smart infrastructure, project risk, operations research, and technology-driven project optimization.
