Emmanuel Tettey is a Ghanaian education scholar, mathematics educator, researcher, and academic reviewer associated with the University of Education, Winneba. He holds a Bachelor of Education in Basic Education and an M.Phil. in Basic Education (Mathematics) from the University of Education, Winneba. He has served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the university, supporting undergraduate teaching, internship and teaching-practice activities, project supervision, and academic programmes. He has also worked with the Ghana Statistical Service as a regional trainer and fieldwork supervisor for the Population and Housing Census, and has experience as a WAEC script checker for both BECE and WASSCE examinations. His academic interests encompass Mathematics Education, Basic Education, Mathematics Teaching and Learning, Curriculum Studies, Educational Assessment, ICT in Education, Teacher Professional Development, and Educational Research Methods. He has further contributed as a facilitator in training programmes on test-item construction, teacher mentoring, mathematics teaching, and research skills.His research interests focus particularly on mathematics education, mathematics misconceptions, innovative teaching methodologies, instructional materials, local materials and games in mathematics teaching, curriculum development, assessment, and educational technology. His scholarly work includes studies on the use of draught boards to improve students’ fluency and achievement in mathematics, the relationship between culture and the mathematics curriculum, perceptions of mathematics difficulty and the role of counselling, and youth development. He has participated in multidisciplinary academic conferences and numerous professional workshops and webinars covering quantitative and qualitative research, mixed-methods research, data analysis, thesis writing, literature review, research ethics, assessment, and technology-enhanced education. With his combination of mathematics education expertise, classroom teaching experience, research training, assessment experience, and academic reviewing practice, he is well suited for academic research and peer review in Mathematics Education, Basic Education, Teacher Education, Curriculum Studies, Educational Assessment, Educational Technology, Teaching and Learning, and Education Research.
