Dr. Seyed Amirhossein Shojaei is an academic, business researcher, and management professional with international experience in the United Kingdom, Oman, Iran, and Kazakhstan. He currently serves as a Senior Lecturer in Business and Course Leader for BSc International Business Management and Business Administration at Coventry University, Kazakhstan Campus. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Sheffield Hallam University, an MBA from Iran University of Science and Technology, and a BSc in Insurance Management from Allameh Tabataba’i University. His academic expertise encompasses International Business, Strategic Management, Business Management, Marketing, Insurance, Finance, Sustainability, Supply Chain Management, and Entrepreneurship. Prior to his current position, he served as Senior Lecturer in Business and Management and MBA/BSc Marketing Programme Leader at Muscat University, where he also served as Acting Director of the Faculty of Business and Management. He previously taught International Business and Strategy at Sheffield Hallam University and International Business at Ulster University. His professional industry experience includes management consultancy, insurance management, engineering and liability insurance, international procurement, and insurance advisory roles.Dr. Shojaei has extensive teaching, research, supervision, and academic leadership experience, having delivered more than 25 undergraduate and postgraduate modules and supervised over 100 postgraduate dissertations while advising more than 500 students. His recent research examines insurance-market diversification and performance, financial and systemic risk, green finance and digital assets, sustainable last-mile delivery, consumer responses to sustainable logistics, autonomous vehicle adoption, technological diversification, behavioral finance, and generative AI in business education. He has published and contributed to research in international journals and Springer volumes and serves on the editorial board of a Scopus-indexed journal. He has also led and contributed to externally funded research projects and serves as a doctoral thesis examiner.
