Dr Rajadarshini Patra (Feminist Lawer and researcher) born to a middle class family and brought of with rich cultural values in a well known family of her area. She has been a best student in school. Started her higher education in a reputed women’ college and further in university in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She has got degrees in law(LLB) and further worked as Assistant Professor in Women’s Studies from UGC Center for Women Empowerment in a.social science institution under Utkal University. She has got many opportunities to work in interdisciplinary field with her unique experience in gender and law. She was selected as SRTT library visit Fellowship from Jadavpur University, qualified UGC-NET,and selected for ICSSR Institutional Fellowship in the Centre for Women Development Studies, New Delhi. She has guided PG thesis from two different universities. She is a writer on gender issues and shared research findings in national and international seminars, workshops and conferences. She has published nineteen papers books and journals of national and international repute. She has been a life member of professional bodies in both national and international level. She is a POCSO trainer in regional level basically for slums and school children, parents and teachers. She provides legal counseling to women and girls on family and relationship issues. She is strictly works on sexual Harassment and legal frameworks. She is studying on single women’s issues in urban slums. She has produced reports on various social and agricultural field, developed training materials. She is very active, honest and dedicated professional staff of all employers she has been involved with.
