I am a senior lecturer in Linguistics, specialising on languages of Sarawak, Borneo. My current research work includes Language Endangerment and Documentation with specific reference to Sarawak. Some of my work can be found in the book, entitled “Indigenous Communities and Languages of Sarawak”, Malaysia, which I co-authored with Asmah haji Omar. My Ph.D. thesis on Language choice of Bidayuh graduates in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak should be an interesting reading for researchers doing language shift.
