I am a PhD holder in English Language Teaching and possess two masters; MA in International Relations from University of Colombo and MA in Linguistics from University of Kelaniya. After having obtained my BA (Hons) from University of Kelaniya, I began working as an Assistant lecturer in 2008. Currently, I am serving as a Senior Lecturer, attached to the Department of Languages at Kotelawala Defence University, Sri Lanka. My areas of research are mainly based on : ELT, Task-based Teaching, and Learning, and Gender.
