Chinechendo Eze is a Ph.D. candidate in Environmental and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, USA, with a strong academic foundation in Microbiology (B.Sc.) and Food Microbiology (M.Sc.) from Nigerian universities. She is currently researching plant genetics and biotechnology, focusing on advancing crop improvement through cutting-edge molecular techniques and genomics. Before her doctoral studies, Chinechendo served as a Lecturer at the University of Nigeria, where she taught microbiology and mentored students in laboratory-based research. Her academic and research interests span plant biotechnology, molecular genetics, crop improvement, food microbiology and safety.
