Senior Lecturer
Dr. Kehinde Emmanuel Adenegan was born on the 9th of July, 1979, as a set of twins to the family of Hon. & Mrs. Sunmonu Solomon Adenegan in Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria. He completed his elementary education at St. Andrew’s Primary School, Owo, before proceeding to Owo High School, where he excelled and became the Senior Prefect. He furthered his education at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo (OAU), obtaining a degree in Mathematics Education with First Class Honors, breaking a long-year record. By divine arrangement, he proceeded to the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he obtained a degree in Mathematics (Financial Mathematics).
Dr. Kehinde currently lectures at the Department of Mathematics at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo State, and has served as Director of the Institution Management Information Systems Directorate. He has chaired numerous committees and is currently serving as the Acting Rector of the newly established College of Technology of Adeyemi in Ondo city. He has also facilitated at the National Open University of Nigeria, Akure Study Centre.
A recipient of numerous local, national, and international scholarships, Dr. Kehinde has traveled to four major continents for academic conferences, educational training, and socio-cultural activities. His research interests include Mathematics – Financial Mathematics, Numerical Methods, and Mathematics Education, with a focus on Ethno-mathematics, mathematics drama, and early childhood numeracy.
Dr. Kehinde is the author of the popular book The Tale of Hexagon City and the founder of AGES, a subsidiary of ADEMMAK Global Consultancy Services, which is excelling in the ICT world. He is also the creator of the popular YouTube channel Yorùbá Mathematics Class, where he shares educational content on mathematics.
In his leisure time, Dr. Kehinde enjoys reading, listening to radio broadcasts, watching movies, and surfing the internet.
