Dr. Asokan Vasudevan was born in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. He received his primary education at Sekolah Menengah Rantau, Rantau, Negeri Sembilan, while his secondary education was at Sekolah Menengah KGV, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. He pursued his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Southeast Missouri State University, USA. He then furthers his Master of Science in Management and Master of Arts in Education Administration at Southeast Missouri State University, USA. Later pursued his Postgraduate Diploma in Safety Management at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Kajang, Selangor. Dr Asokan Vasudevan is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Communication at INTI International University, Nilai Negeri Sembilan. Before this, for ten years, Dr Asokan was a lecturer at Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur, Kajang, Malaysia. He also holds the Department Chair position in the Department of Business and Technology at the College of Marshall Island in Marshall Island, Pacific Region, USA. While Dr Asokan was with Southeast Missouri State University, USA, he taught several university-level courses for beginners. Dr Asokan has vast working experience in publicly listed companies in the past. He started as a market researcher with Survey Research Malaysia and was later promoted to a regional researcher based in Johor. He worked with Selangor Industrial Corporation (SIC), a subsidiary of PKNS Selangor. Dr Asokan also owned an enterprise dealing with mild steel in association with state and private contractors. The job covers a broad spectrum of operations of my own business as an entrepreneur, market research consultant and sales and marketing manager in Malaysia. His research interests are mainly management, marketing, operations management and entrepreneurship. On top of that, Dr. Asokan has published several articles in international journals.
