Dr. Chukuka Achuenu – Profile

Dr. Chukuka Achuenu obtained a B.Sc degree in Industrial Chemistry and an M.Sc degree in Applied Organic Chemistry from the University of Jos, Nigeria. He also earned a second M.Sc degree in Organic Synthesis and a PhD in Organic Synthesis from the Université Grenoble Alpes, France. He currently teaches Organic Chemistry at the University of Jos, Nigeria. His research focuses on designing new synthetic methodologies, drug design, natural products and medicinal chemistry, and the exploration of phytochemicals from medicinal plants.
