Dr. David Adesina Babajide is an accomplished academic and researcher with nearly two decades of teaching and administrative experience across higher education institutions in Nigeria. He serves as a full-time academic staff member at the Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech), Lagos, and holds associate lecturer positions at Federal University Oye (Ekiti State), MacPherson University (Ogun State), and Joseph Ayo Babalola University (Ondo State).Dr. Babajide holds a Ph.D. in Finance with a specialization in Public and International Finance, alongside three Master’s degrees: M.Sc. in Finance, M.Sc. in Business Administration (International Business), and M.Sc. in Environmental Resources Management. A specialist in econometrics and data management, his research centers on financial sector reforms, contributing over 30 peer-reviewed articles to national and international journals.At Yabatech, Dr. Babajide currently serves as the Coordinator for the Part-Time Programme in the Department of Banking and Finance. His institutional leadership also includes roles as Chairman of the Advisory Committee and Member of the Examination Committee for the School of Management and Business Studies. Beyond his academic work, he is actively involved in international research conferences and public service, having served as a Returning Officer in the 2025 National Election.
