Biography

Dr. Hamidu A. Bello is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA). He holds a Ph.D. in Statistics (2019), specializing in Econometrics, along with an M.Sc. (2007) and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Statistics. Dr. Bello’s expertise spans econometrics, statistical inference, and operations research. He has extensive teaching experience, supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students. A member of the Nigerian Statistical Association, he has published numerous journal articles on statistical methods, multicollinearity, and time series analysis. His ongoing research investigates the performance of panel data estimators in regression models.st
