JAYSON E. RUFINO was born and raised in the province of Nueva Ecija, finished a Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Chemistry in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009, and finished the TESDA NCII Level of Contact Services Course. He proceeded Master of Arts in Education, Major in Educational Management from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa in 2015 and also finished a Doctor of Philosophy in Education, Major in Educational Management in Philippine Womens University – Taf, Manila Campus. He passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers and has worked as a public school teacher for 15 years up to the present. He has also numerous dance training, from being a scholar dancer of NEUST Folkloric Performing Artist, completing summer dance classes in the College of Human Kinetic, University of the Philippines-Diliman Campus, accomplishing Australian syllabus for Children’s’ Ballet from En Pointe School of Dance, Ayala, Alabang, City of Muntinlupa and finished DepEd Dance Sports Courses that led him to be a licensed Dance Sport Adjudicator in the Department of Education-Philippines. During these numerous trainings, he handled different dance groups, directed dance recitals, and coached teams for dance competitions. From the year 2014, he was awarded as the best MAPEH Teacher for five consecutive years in Gen. Pio Del Pilar National High School and crowned as Mr. DepEd Makati in 2015. Currently, he is a member of the Philippine Folk Dance Society, Cheer Leading Association of the Philippines, Philippine Dance Sport Council, Red Cross Volunteer Rescuer, Makati Anti-Drug Abuse Council, and an Outfit Advisor of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines. Formerly, he was also tasked as one of the DepEd Makati Module Writer and Validator, Gen Pio Del Pilar National High School DRRM Researcher, and a MAPEH Teacher Level III who continuously bridged the gap between dances of the rich to the silver lining students of his community. In the present, he was the Education, Tours, and Program Officer of Museo De La Salle, De La Salle University – Dasmarinas Campus fulfilling the role of integration between academic syllabi and museum offerings, research making on object-based learning while uplifting the power of museum in touching the lives of the current generation simultaneously preserving the culture and heritage materials of the past.
