Dr. Jerlyn D. Pama holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Science from West Visayas State University, building upon his Master of Arts in Education and Bachelor of Secondary Education degrees from the same institution. Her academic journey has equipped her with a deep understanding of educational theory, research, and curriculum development.
Throughout her career, Dr. Pama has held several key leadership positions way back when she was in Colegio de San Jose from 1998 to 2016 as the Area Coordinator of Social Studies, Vice Principal, and later became the Principal of the Basic Education Department. From 2016 to 2022, she served as the Dean of the Higher Education Department at the same time the Principal of Senior High School, Vice President for Academics and Research, and Program Chair of Education. She started serving Iloilo State University of Fisheries Science and Technology (ISUFST) in the year 2022 up to the present. Currently, she is the Program Chair MILE/ Ph DILE Social Science of the School of Graduate Studies, Chair of the University Learning Assessment Center (ULAC), and the University Research Ethics Review Committee (URERC). Her experience in these roles has allowed him to contribute significantly to institutional development, curriculum innovation, and faculty mentorship.
In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Dr. Pama has been actively involved in research and academic writing. Her research interests include education and social sciences. Her work has been published in reputable journals, such as the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Studies. Dr. Pama holds the academic rank of Associate Professor IV. She has also been an active accreditor of AACCUP since 2022.
