Dr. Josephine Ssirimuzaawo is an accomplished educationist, lecturer, researcher, and mentor with over 15 years of professional experience in higher education, counselling, administration, and student development. She currently serves as a Lecturer in the School of Education at Nkumba University and has previously worked with institutions including Kampala International University, Mubende National Teachers College, and Ggaba Teacher’s Training College. She holds a Ph.D. in Education Psychology from Nkumba University, a Master’s Degree in Education Planning and Management, a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management. Her expertise spans educational psychology, project management, counselling and guidance, environmental conservation, quality assurance, student mentoring, and research supervision.
Dr. Ssirimuzaawo has contributed extensively to academic research and scholarly development through publications and peer-review activities in internationally recognized journals. Her research interests focus on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), behavioural management interventions, educational achievement, and learner support systems in primary education. She has presented papers at international and institutional conferences, including those hosted by University of Mauritius and Nkumba University. In addition, she serves as a peer reviewer for reputable journals in mental health, disability studies, and social sciences, reflecting her commitment to advancing educational research, inclusive learning, and academic excellence.
