Dr. Nancy Katu-Ogundimu has been professionally active as a journalist, academic, development consultant and a member of civil society.
She has worked in various capacities starting as a journalist at Plateau Radio Television Corporation, Jos between 1991 and 2005 and as Press Secretary for the Family Support Program, Plateau State Government House from 1996-2000. In 2005, Dr. Katu-Ogundimu joined the services of the University of Jos as an Arts Fellow and pioneer Station Manager for the University FM station (now ICE FM). She also worked as an academic instructor of Mass Communication at the University of Jos and Plateau State University, Bokkos. Between 2009 and 2017, Nancy has also worked as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Professor at Ohio University, Athens, Ohio, United States of America (2013-2017).
Dr. Katu-Ogundimu has consulted for International Development Organizations such as UNICEF, Search for Common Ground and Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). She has publications that cover topics on youth, media and peacebuilding.
