Dr. R. Kaviyarasi is an Indian academician, researcher, author, and academic leader with more than 14 years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. She currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Periyar University, along with an M.Phil. in Computer Science, MCA, and B.Sc. in Mathematics, and has qualified both UGC-NET and Tamil Nadu SET. Her academic and professional experience includes teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses such as Machine Learning, Python, DevSecOps, Statistics for Machine Learning, Data Structures, and other core computing subjects. She has also served as Academic Coordinator, Programme Head, Course Coordinator, Examination Coordinator, and research supervisor, contributing to curriculum development, student mentoring, academic quality, and institutional activities.Dr. Kaviyarasi has an active research and scholarly profile, with publications in SCI-E, Scopus/UGC-recognized, and international journals, particularly in the areas of machine learning and educational data mining. Her research has focused on academic performance prediction, attribute selection, predictive modelling, deep learning, ensemble learning, clustering, learning disabilities, and educational data analysis. She has authored numerous books covering programming, computer networks, operating systems, mobile computing, web technology, Python, C/C++, and computer applications, and has also contributed book chapters. She has received several awards for teaching, research, and professional excellence and has served as an editorial board member, journal and conference reviewer, technical programme committee member, resource person, session chair, and evaluator for academic and innovation initiatives.
