Ting Hie Ling is a lecturer at the Academy of Language Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM Sarawak). She holds a Doctorate and a Master’s Degree from East China Normal University, Shanghai, China, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Her research areas include Linguistics, Teaching Mandarin as a Second Language, and Experimental Phonetics.
