My name is Dr. Wesaya, a Mathematics and Science Educator, Trainer and Researcher. I have worked as a Tutorial Fellow at Kisii University in Kenya, Research Consultant with the Government of Kenya’s research body and a Technical Assistant (Community Empowerment and Institutional Support) to the defunct Ministry of Planning, National Development and Vision 2030 in Kenya. I also have experience in teaching Mathematics and Economics at the prestigious Bunyore Girls’ High School and Butere Technical & Vocational College respectively. My research interest in Mathematics Language was mentored by Prof. Samwel Oyoo and Dr. Lillian Vikiru, my lecturers at Masters level at Aga Khan University, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. I am looking forward to conducting more research in Mathematics Language and Innovations in Mathematics classrooms in the context of English as Second Language Learners.
