This profile reflects a remarkable academic journey marked by achievements in Islamic Studies Education, Arabic Studies, and Cultural Administration. These qualifications signify a lifelong commitment to academic excellence and professional development, with a focus on fostering education in cultural and religious studies.
I was born in Ilorin City, Ilorin South LGA, Kwara State, Nigeria, on 12th August 1980 to the Dagbo Family of Gambari Area. My educational journey began at Shamsudeen Primary School (1986–1990) and continued at Muhyideen College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Kulende, Ilorin (1991–1997). I later attended Ile-Apa Community Secondary School in 2016 for my Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WAEC).
My higher education includes completing an NCR in Arabic & Islamic Studies at Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin (1997–2001), a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. Ed.) in Islamic Studies Education from the University of Ilorin (2002–2005), and a Master’s Degree (M.Ed.) in Islamic Studies Education from the same university (2010–2013). Additionally, I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Cultural Administration from the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO) and am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Islamic Studies Education at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria.
I have over 24 years of teaching experience across all levels of education and 14 years of expertise in cultural administration. My career has been marked by active participation in over eight workshops and conferences, as well as the presentation of more than 23 papers published in national and international academic journals and books.
I am married and blessed with four children. My life’s work reflects my commitment to education, cultural studies, and the advancement of Islamic Studies Education.
