Farhanin Binti Abdullah Asuhaimi is a Malaysian legal academic and researcher serving as a University Lecturer at the Faculty of Law and International Relations, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu, Malaysia. She holds a Master of Laws in Banking Law and a Bachelor of Laws from the International Islamic University Malaysia. She has extensive teaching experience in Islamic Criminal Law, Islamic Law of Evidence, Contract Law, Islamic Legal Systems, Islamic Family Law, Islamic Law of Transactions, Islamic Law of Properties, Civil Procedure, Law of Evidence, Insolvency, and Islamic Law of Insurance. She has also undertaken several academic leadership and administrative responsibilities, including Programme Head and faculty coordinator, as well as contributing to curriculum review, academic quality assurance, student mentoring, examination activities, and professional legal education.Farhanin has an active research and publication profile focusing on Islamic Law, Contract Law, Consumer Protection, Online Transactions, E-Commerce Law, Islamic Legal Systems, and Legal Issues in Malaysia. Her scholarly work has addressed statutory implied terms in online contracts, consumer protection, unfair contract terms, force majeure, online sale of goods, Islamic criminal law, fatwa and Malaysian courts, Umrah travel contracts, competition law, children’s rights, compulsory vaccination, and the intersection of law and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. She has published in Scopus-indexed and other peer-reviewed journals, contributed chapters to legal books, participated in national and international conferences, and secured research grants as both principal investigator and co-researcher. She has also contributed as a research evaluator, editorial board member, conference reviewer, academic assessor, and legal education facilitator.
