Mrs. M. Pennarasi is an Indian biotechnology researcher, academician, and research professional with expertise in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, and Bioinformatics. She holds an M.Tech in Biotechnology from Karpaga Vinayaga College of Engineering and Technology, affiliated with Anna University, Chennai, and a B.Tech in Biotechnology from the same institution. She has served in academic and research roles including Assistant Professor at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Arts and Science for Women and Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women. She also worked as a UGC-CPEPA Project Fellow at the National Centre for Alternatives to Animal Experiments, Bharathidasan University, and subsequently served as a Research and Development Associate at the BioLogical & BioInformatics Research Centre, Tiruchirapalli. Since May 2026, she has been serving as the Founder and Research Director of Arasi Bio Innovations, where she continues to contribute to research and innovation in the biological sciences.Her professional interests encompass biotechnology research, biological sciences, bioinformatics, laboratory research, and alternative approaches to animal experimentation. Her experience across academic teaching, laboratory-based research, research and development, and scientific innovation provides a multidisciplinary foundation for contributing to biological and biotechnology research.
