Prerna Mehta, a distinguished academic and accomplished author, holds a diverse educational background, completing her undergraduate studies in BSc Biotechnology at Rungta College of Science and Technology, R2, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India, where she was awarded a gold medal for outstanding performance. She pursued her Master of Science in Biotechnology from Government V.Y.P.T. College in Durg, Chhattisgarh, India, and her BEd degree from Ghanshyam Singh Arya Kanya College, Aarya Nagar, Durg, Chhattisgarh. Prerna’s expertise spans genetics, nanoparticles, biochemistry, and genetic engineering. She has authored three books and holds utility patents for innovative projects: “A chamber to detect radiation and a method to shower melanin to protect the user against radiation” and “AI-Powered Rural Enhancement System for Tackling Hunger & Ensuring Water Conservation through Smart Resource Management.” Currently, she serves as an Associate Director at Microbiology Society, India, and sits on the Executive Board of Directors at Micro Militia Division of MBSI, India. Prerna is also an Assistant Professor at GD Rungta of Science and Technology, R1, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India, where she actively engages in interdisciplinary discourse, contributing to biotechnology conferences and workshops. She has published papers in Scopus and SCI-indexed journals, demonstrating her research excellence and impact in the academic community.
