Dr. Alpesh Mehta is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at SVKM’s Mithibai College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous), Mumbai. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Policy and Administration from the University of Mumbai and has also qualified NET in Commerce. He completed his M.Com in Business Management in 2012 and B.Com in 2010, both from the University of Mumbai. He has over 10 years of teaching experience at UG level and around 5 months at PG level, along with recognition as a research guide and postgraduate teacher in Business Management. He is actively involved in academic and institutional development as a Board of Studies member and convener of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and Institution Innovation Council. His contributions include roles in NAAC, IQAC, NEP, and various academic committees. Dr. Mehta has presented and published several research papers in national and international journals and conferences, including UGC Care listed journals, with research interests in marketing, insurance, advertising, digital platforms, and consumer behavior. He has also contributed to course writing for the University of Mumbai’s distance education program and actively mentors research scholars under the Avishkar Research Conclave.
