Moses Muithya Mutinda is an accomplished Kenyan educator and researcher specializing in educational psychology and learner diagnostics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Psychology at Tharaka University, building upon his foundational Master of Education from Kenyatta University and a Bachelor of Education (Arts). With nearly 15 years of dedicated classroom experience, Moses has served as a Graduate Teacher of Geography and Kiswahili at Musavani Secondary School since 2012. He complements his instructional background with specialized certifications, including training as an official national examiner with the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
Moses’s primary research focus lies in identifying the behavioral and psychological catalysts that dictate student success in secondary education. His published work explores self-determination theory, investigating how learner autonomy, personal interest, and academic attitude serve as critical correlates and predictors of student performance within Kitui County, Kenya.
