Mark Jeembs M. Pineda, RN, PBT, MHPEd, FAcadMEd, IPFPH, FIOASD, is a healthcare professional, nurse educator, public health practitioner, and researcher from the Philippines with extensive experience in clinical nursing, health professions education, disease surveillance, infection prevention and control, and healthcare research. He currently serves as a Staff Nurse II at Tondo Medical Center and Lecturer II at Centro Escolar University – School of Nursing, while also contributing as a member of the Institutional Ethics Review Board and Technical Review Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Far Eastern University, a Diploma in Health Professions Education, and a Master of Health Professions Education from the University of the Philippines Manila. He is a Registered Professional Nurse in both the Philippines and New York State, a certified phlebotomist, and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators. His professional expertise includes clinical nursing, public health, epidemiology, disease surveillance, infection control, HIV/STI prevention and counseling, maternal and child health, health professions education, and research ethics.Mr. Pineda has demonstrated significant academic, clinical, and public health engagement through research, teaching, professional training, and conference participation. He has served as a trainer and core team member for HIV/AIDS, Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care, disease surveillance, and infection prevention initiatives, and has participated in numerous programs on epidemiology, research methodology, research ethics, health policy, and data science in health professions education.
