Dr. Sarika Dixit, currently working as Registrar& Dean- Professor Sociology, Mahatma Gandhi University, Meghalya. I have completed my M.A. (Women Studies, Social Work & Sociology), qualify UGC NET in Women Studies & Ph. D. in Sociology. I received “Rising Women of India Award”. One Book as a co editor and more than 30 Research Papers at National & International Journals has been published till now. I have completed one ICSSR Project on Menstrual Health & Hygiene. Two MOOC by CEC (Consortium for Educational Consortium) has been approved for course development, one is Research Methods II in Sociology at Undergraduate level and second is Sociology of Kinship- Sociology at Undergraduate level. Earlier I was associated with, S.O.S.S., D.A.V.V., Indore, Kasturba Gram Rural Institute of Indore, Subject Expert at Jila Rojgaar Karyalaya, Indore, Master Trainer & Case Worker at One Stop Center (Department of Women and Child Development), Trainer at Police Training Institute, Indore for Gender Sensitisation, Expert on Gender Sensitisation at UGC- HRDC in Faculty Development Programmes, Mentor- CMCLDP (Community Development Programme), Chitrakoot University, Chitrakoot etc.. I am also a Member of Indian Sociological Society & International Sociological Association.
