Dr. Xavier Francis Ichani is retired military officers and peace and conflict practitioner with wide experience teaching and military affairs. He has demonstrated skills in scholarly writing and research. He holds Bachelor of Education (Arts) and Master of Arts (Armed Conflict and Peace Studies) from the University of Nairobi and Doctor of Philosophy in Military History from Egerton University. He previously taught at the Kenya Military Academy and Egerton University. He joined Kenyatta University in 2017 as member of faculty at the Department of International Relations, Conflict and strategic Studies. He has individual and co-authored a number of paper in high ranking peer reviewed journals. In 2022 He Participated in Workshop on Universalization and Effectiveness of Biological Weapon Convention in East Africa.
