Fredrick Kariithi Githui is a Kenyan Strategic Management scholar, educator, and researcher based in Nairobi. He serves as a Lecturer in the School of Business at KCA University and an Honorary Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia. He is completing his PhD in Business Administration at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), with research focusing on turnaround strategies and the performance of commercial state corporations in Kenya. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Mount Kenya University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Kenyatta University. His academic and teaching expertise encompasses strategic management, public management, leadership, corporate social responsibility, organizational performance, and research methods. His contributions to academic writing and research have earned him KCA University’s Research Excellence Awards in 2024 and 2025.Githui’s research interests extend to corporate governance, organizational resilience, sustainability and ESG, strategic change, turnaround strategies, and organization theory. He has authored more than 11 peer-reviewed journal articles and is the author of Sustainable Trade: Charting the Way to Global Commerce’s Future (Cambridge Scholars Publishing, 2026), with a further monograph on organization theory and dynamic capability design forthcoming with Emerald Publishing. He actively participates in international academic conferences and mentors emerging researchers through the Eider Africa Journal Club. He is an Associate Member of the Kenya Institute of Management and serves as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
