Oluyemi Philip Ologunwa was born on the 24th April, 1975, at Akure,Ondo State to the family of Late Mr and Mrs Jerome John and Cecilia salamatu Ologunwa. He attended St. Michaels Catholic Primary School, Akure (1980 – 1986) and Aquinas College Akure (1986 – 1992). He proceeded to the University of Ibadan, Oyo State where he obtained a Professional Diploma in Statistics (PDS) in 1997, a Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc. Hons.) in Economics in 2002 and a Master of Educational Management Degree (M.Ed) in Economics 2008. He also had Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Ambrose Alli 2004, a Master of Science Degree (M.Sc.) in Economics 2010 from lead City University Ibadan and Ph.D. Management Science from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria.. Oluyemi have contributed significantly in the areas of capacity building, community development and successfully supervised over 35 Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students. His publication is over twenty (30) articles in national and international Journals. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and Member Nigeria Economics Society. He has received TETfund grants for Institutional Based Research (IBR) which includes the Effect of COVID-19 Pandemic on Unemployment and Poverty in Southwestern Nigeria, the Assessment of causes and impact of nomadic cattle grazing on crop production and farmers income in south western Nigeria and in 2015 he Presented a paper on Dominant Coalitions and Citizenship Behaviour in Nigeria at an Annual International Conference on Manpower Training and Development, held at University Of Antananarivo, Madagascar. Dr.Oluyemi Philip Ologunwa is an Industrial Economist, a faithful Catholic and the secretary of Christ the King Society Sacred Heart Cathedral Ondo Diocese. He is happily married with children.
