Dr. Suchitra A. Rati is an eminent nursing educator and academic administrator currently serving as the Vice Principal and Professor & Head of the Department of Community Health Nursing at B.L.D.E.A’s Shri B. M. Patil Institute of Nursing Sciences in Vijayapur, Karnataka. With a distinguished teaching career spanning over 27 years, Dr. Rati has climbed the institutional ranks from a nursing tutor in 1998 to a senior executive leader. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bangalore University and an M.Sc. in Community Health Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), where she graduated as the university academic topper across both years. She completed her Ph.D. in Nursing from JJT University, Rajasthan, in 2021, and has fortified her clinical credentials with specialized postgraduate certifications in Clinical Trials, Statistical Computing, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). As Vice Principal, she orchestrates institutional governance, serving as the Chief Coordinator of Academic Affairs, chairperson for NAAC Criteria-II, and an Ad-Hoc Inspector for the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
