OLADUN Emmanuel Adesola is a dedicated transport management scholar and Assistant Lecturer in the Logistics and Transport Technology Department at the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria. He holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Transport Management with a specialized Air Transportation option from FUTA, building upon a B.Sc. in Transport Management from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). Emmanuel brings a unique blend of technical and instructional expertise to his faculty, having served as FUTA’s Principal Laboratory Technologist for over a decade. He teaches key undergraduate courses spanning Traffic Safety Measures, Automotive Engines, and Transport Infrastructure Planning, while actively steering institutional growth through roles on FUTA’s Curriculum Development, Accreditation, and University Equipment Management committees.
Emmanuel’s primary research footprint focuses on the critical intersections of aviation logistics, airport infrastructure maintenance, and operational efficiency within developing nations. He is a published researcher whose econometric analyses of air travel demand and cargo throughputs in Nigeria feature in recognized peer-reviewed journals. His completed and ongoing research projects deeply investigate the structural modernization of aging airport frameworks and the strategic balance between safety compliance, security, and maintenance costs in smart airports. Backed by specialized certifications in Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD) and General Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), Emmanuel combines quantitative transport modeling with practical diagnostic systems to advance sustainable infrastructure operations.
