Samson L. Mangin is a dedicated educator, researcher, and healthcare professional with a strong interdisciplinary background in science education, biology, healthcare administration, and law. He currently serves as a College Professor at Adventist Medical Center College, where he teaches biomedical and health science courses including Medical Biochemistry, Pathophysiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Chemistry, and Microbiology. He is presently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Science Education major in Biology at Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology as a DOST-CBPSME Scholar, while simultaneously undertaking a Doctor of Management in Advanced Healthcare Administration and a Juris Doctor degree. Mr. Mangin is actively engaged in research and innovation, particularly in microbiology, ethnomedicine, science education, and public health. His published studies focus on antimicrobial plant extracts, conceptual learning strategies, and ethnomedicinal knowledge systems, with articles appearing in reputable academic journals. He is also a contributing member of the American Society for Microbiology and a member of the American Society of Nephrology. Known for his student-centered teaching philosophy, he combines academic rigor with compassion and innovation in the classroom.
