Mr. Sigit Sepriadi, S.Pt., M.Pt., PGCert., IPM., ASEAN Eng. is a highly credentialed animal scientist, laboratory manager, and Indonesian civil servant currently serving as the Teaching Laboratory Specialist in Animal Nutrition and Feed Technology at the State Islamic University of Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau (UIN Suska Riau). He also lends his pedagogical expertise to the Faculty of Science and Technology at Universitas Terbuka as an Associate Lecturer in Food Technology. Ir. His industrial footprint includes key leadership roles such as Section Head of Cow-Calf Operations for PT. Astra Agro Lestari, Tbk, and Cattle-Palm Oil Plantation Supervisor for PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III, where he directed integrated breeding, pasture management, and commercial operations. This practical expertise heavily informs his highly active research portfolio, which focuses on sustainable animal nutrition through the valorization of local agricultural and plantation by-products. Supported by multiple high-stakes grants from the Indonesian Agency for Research and Innovation and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, his work explores innovative silage, pellet, and wafer technologies using oil palm fronds and trunks. A widely recognized scholar, he holds a patent for Black Soldier Fly-based milk replacer formulas, has published heavily in international Scopus and Web of Science-indexed platforms, and serves as an active peer reviewer for elite international publications like the Tropical Animal Science Journal.
