Dr. Unnati Soni has completed her Bachelor’s, Master’s, M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Social Work. She has professional experience as a Research Assistant at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Social Work, Parul University, Vadodara. Her areas of specialization include women’s empowerment and livelihoods, micro-enterprise and entrepreneurship development, sustainable community development, social work research, and grassroots institutional strengthening. Her academic and research interests include social work pedagogy, field work education, inclusive development with a focus on gender and disability, NGO governance, and professional ethics in social work practice. She has published research articles in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, and has also authored book chapters in edited volumes and one book.
